what "they say" about obesity

Even though being skinny is still the most desired look, being obese and overweight is not completely frowned upon.  More people are now accepting obesity and studies have shown that the percentage of people who think  overweight people are attractive has gone up.  As stated in the article, about two-thirds of U.S. adults overweight, Americans seem more accepting of heavier body types.  Even though the body image is judged constantly, more people do not care and do not mind being overweight.  The view of obesity constantly changes and it seems like more people are accepting of obesity but still being skinny is most preferred.  Fewer people are saying that overweight people are less attractive, and their body image is no longer being rejected.

People will say that they are ok with how they look if they are overweight, but still many of them have the want to be skinny.  Often times, people who are overweight get teased and bullied throughout their lives, which is also a factor that makes them want to not be overweight. The concept of having a good body image will always be an obsession in America, its inevitable. It seems that more people are eating the unhealthy fast food and not exercising and they are just allowing their body image to become bad.
